Beginner group class instruction

Getting Started

Beginning group training is straightforward

Roughly 60% of people abandon solo fitness after a month. Entering a guided group class can ease the anxiety of sticking with a routine. Our process involves an initial Q&A, in-person walkthrough, and supervised demo class. This progression minimizes uncertainty and lets each participant determine the most comfortable engagement. Consult your physician before starting any exercise program. Results may vary.

First-Timer Tips

Over half of group fitness members cite peer support as the main benefit.

01
Group class water break

Bring Water and Rest

Hydration matters more than many realize. Take breaks when needed during initial sessions to avoid fatigue—there’s no penalty for going at your pace.

02
Class warmup with trainer

Warm Up With the Group

Structured warmups help ease nerves and bring people together at the start. Move gradually, and tell your coach about any restrictions before you begin.

03
Feedback during group fitness

Follow Coach Feedback

Don’t hesitate to ask trainers for advice or corrections. Every adjustment is intended to keep you safe and build confidence at your own speed.
